For 3 years, McCrossin has played a pivotal role in raising awareness and funds for PA Wounded Warrior. In 2014, McCrossin partnered with Best Line Equipment to form the Endurance Organization, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, dedicated to raising funds for worthy causes. For 2014, 2015, and 2016 this organization has dedicated their time and resources to support the PA Wounded Warrior.
With the help of more than 50 sponsors, individual and corporate donors, several volunteers and over 200 participants the Endurance Organization raised over $67,000 for the PA Wounded Warrior organization during this year’s 3rd Annual Clay Shooting event.
The event, which took place at Warriors Mark Wingshooting Lodge in Ginter, PA, was full of fellowship, fun, competition and inspiration. (According to the Warriors Mark Wingshooting website, “Sporting clays, often called golf with a shotgun, is the fastest growing shooting sport in the world.” warriorsmark.com/wm/sporting-clays). Nearly 210 shooters from all over Pennsylvania participated in the day’s events, which included a 50 sporting clay shoot, exciting raffle for over 15 firearms, and inspiring stories from servicemen. Plans for the 4th Clay Shooting Event are already under way.
Joe Leahey, Vice President of Endurance Organization and Vice President of McCrossin, says, “We’ve donated more than $210,000 over the past three years to the PA Wounded Warrior organization. We are especially excited about supporting them because we know that $0.96 of every $1.00 donated goes directly to soldiers and their families.”
The Endurance Organization is inviting the community to participate in efforts to raise funds for worthy causes.
